A celebrated storyteller and record holder, Shanaya was recently invited by the Kolkata We Care Project for a special storytelling session at the inauguration of their Food ATM — an initiative aimed at eradicating hunger across the city.
During the event, Shanaya not only donated food but also delivered a touching story that left a lasting impression on every listener. Her deep commitment to the cause earned her the prestigious role of Brand Ambassador for the Food ATM Drive by Kolkata We Care Project. As the face of this noble campaign, Shanaya now connects with children across multiple platforms every weekend, educating them about hunger issues and encouraging them to join this transformative movement.
The event received praise from several dignitaries including Shri Javed Ahmed Khan, Minister of Disaster Management and Civil Defence (TMC – West Bengal), and Maria Fernandes, Vice Chairperson of the West Bengal Commission for Women and Forest Development. Teachers from various schools also lauded Shanaya’s storytelling brilliance and social commitment.
