After Mena Miniki, Vickram Suria Varma Takes a ‘Different Flavours’ Route to Promote His Next Music Album
Chennai: Filmmaker Vickram Suria Varma, who recently made headlines with his music project Mena Miniki, is now gearing up for his next album. This time, however, instead of revealing the title and other details upfront, the filmmaker appears to be taking a more unconventional approach to promoting the project.
The upcoming album is currently being teased with the intriguing phrase:
“Different Flavours. Two Hearts. One Love.”
The official title is being kept under wraps for now, with the makers choosing to build curiosity around the concept before revealing the name.
Produced by Kingfisher Studios, the upcoming romantic music album features music by Alagu Chandhiran A G. The project also brings together Tamil and Malayalam musical elements, with former Indian international cricketer S Sreesanth associated with the Malayalam version of the album.
The promotional material released so far hints at a visual world that combines romance, food and fantasy. Desserts, chocolate and cream, scenic locations and a heart-shaped visual form part of the campaign’s imagery.

But there appears to be more to the strategy than just the visuals.
Instead of following the usual route of announcing the title, followed by a first look, teaser and song release, Vickram Suria Varma appears to be making the marketing campaign itself part of the album’s storytelling.
The question being placed before the audience is simple:
What exactly is the album?

That mystery is expected to remain at the centre of the initial promotional campaign.
The phrase “Different Flavours” also appears to hint at the project’s larger theme, with the makers bringing together elements of food, romance, music and lifestyle to create a distinctive identity for the album.
The strategy comes after Mena Miniki, which featured actress Yashika Anand and marked Vickram Suria Varma’s recent entry into music-driven productions.
With his next project, the filmmaker appears keen to explore a different promotional approach rather than simply following the conventional music-album release template.
The campaign could also see the project reaching audiences through collaborations and promotional activities connected to food, lifestyle, social media and entertainment.
A separate short-form promotional video also adds to the project’s digital campaign, giving audiences another glimpse into the concept surrounding the upcoming album.
