How Dashrath Putra Foundation Is Spreading Kindness and Service Across India
In today’s fast-paced world, where kindness often gets lost in the rush of daily life, the Dashrath Putra Foundation NGO shines as a reminder that compassion is the strongest force for change. Founded in January 2025 and guided by timeless Sanatan values, the foundation is not just an organization it is a heartfelt movement dedicated to animals, nature, temples, and people.
At its core, the foundation embraces the noble qualities of King Dashrath’s four sons: nurturing love like Shri Ram, spreading unity like Shri Bharat, standing strong like Shri Laxman, and caring with devotion like Shri Shatrughan. Under the leadership of Director Archana Yadav, with the selfless support of Karm Yogi Jai Yadav and Secretary Prem Prakash Yadav (Ex-Army), the foundation has grown into a transformative force across Delhi-NCR, Gurugram, Vrindavan, and sacred pilgrimage sites like Khatu Shyam Ji, Salasar Balaji, and Mahakal.
Animal Welfare: Love Beyond Words

Every day, the foundation proves that love has no language. More than 1,000 street animals are fed nutritious meals meals that truly nourish, not just fill their stomachs. Unlike the common practice of feeding biscuits or rotis, the foundation ensures species- appropriate food that strengthens and heals.
But feeding is just one part of the journey. Injured, abandoned, and senior animals receive rescue, surgeries, veterinary treatments, deworming, anti-tick care, and post- treatment support. And for many of them, the foundation finds forever homes places where they are loved, respected, and never left behind again.
Healing the Earth: Environment s Swachh Bharat
The foundation’s compassion extends to Mother Earth. Regular clean-up drives remove harmful plastics and waste from streets, public spaces, and sacred areas, making the environment safer for humans and animals alike.
With tree plantation drives and eco-education programs, Dashrath Putra Foundation inspires communities to live more sustainably teaching segregation, recycling, and eco- friendly practices aligned with the Swachh Bharat Mission. Every sapling planted is a promise to future generations.
Preserving the Sacred: Sanatan Sewa s Temples

Temples are more than just buildings; they are living symbols of faith. That’s why one of the foundation’s most distinctive missions is Mandir Sewa and Preservation.
Through Mandir Safai Sewa, volunteers lovingly clean and maintain temples, ensuring they remain pure spaces of worship. From weekly upkeep to deep cleaning during festivals, the team removes dust, stains, and waste with Shraddha (faith) and Bhakti (devotion).
Already active in 30 temples, the foundation also supports committees struggling with limited donations, providing guidance, structural repairs, and harmony-building to sustain these sacred spaces.
Empowering People: Skill Development s Education
The mission doesn’t stop at animals or temples it extends to people. Soon, the foundation will launch skill development programs for jobless youth, including digital marketing, tailoring, IT training, and entrepreneurship.
Free tuition, counseling, and educational resources will also be offered to underprivileged children, giving them opportunities they might otherwise never see. Each workshop is designed not just to train, but to mentor ensuring every participant can stand tall with confidence and self-reliance.
The Turning Point: Inspired by Asher

Every great movement has a story, and for Dashrath Putra Foundation, that story begins with Asher Yaduvanshi a gentle Lhasa Apso who became the soul of the mission.
Asher’s journey from a playful puppy to a compassionate guiding light showed the Yadav family how love can heal, inspire, and transform. His presence revealed a simple truth: every animal, no matter its background, deserves safety, dignity, and love. Today, Asher’s legacy continues to guide every rescue, every feeding, and every act of sewa.
Overcoming Challenges
Like every noble mission, the path hasn’t been easy. Funding for large-scale feeding and temple upkeep is a constant struggle. Permissions and red tape slow down rescue work, and public unawareness about proper animal care or temple cleaning often creates setbacks.
Even nature poses challenges extreme summers, heavy monsoons, and pollution put animals, volunteers, and sacred spaces at risk. But with every obstacle, the foundation grows stronger, more determined, and more innovative in finding solutions.
