Saravanan Suresh, hailing from Chennai, is a noteworthy individual who excels in various roles, as an Industrialist, Educationist, TEDx Speaker, Software Engineer, Keynote Speaker, and a published author.
His inaugural book, “The 360-Degree View of Start-Up Plan,” was launched by the Honourable MSME Minister of Tamil Nadu in collaboration with Start-Up India and Start-Up TN initiatives. The book has garnered praise from the Honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and aims to motivate and guide aspiring engineering graduates towards successful entrepreneurship.
Saravavan, as the co-founder of “Vector Solutions,” an industrial firm specializing in large- scale electrical and mechanical projects in South India, has faced numerous challenges but remains committed to expanding his team and projects nationwide. Starting with an initial investment of 3 lakhs, Vector Solutions now successfully operates projects across more than six states in India.
He underscores the significance of execution over merely having a brilliant idea for achieving business success. Saravanan actively imparts his knowledge through keynote addresses at various educational institutions, having spoken at over 50 institutions, including NITs, VIT, and other prestigious engineering colleges and universities in India, he continues to spare his time to guide his fellow youngsters in their entrepreneurial journey. His contributions to making online education accessible during the COVID-19 pandemic in a rural village near Sholavaram, Tamil Nadu, has also been recognized by Lions club international.

In addition to his entrepreneurial success, he serves as the director of a group of educational institutions in Tamil Nadu, where he is deeply involved in administration, focusing on branch expansion and quality enhancement.
A top performer in both school and university, with a technical background in Software Engineering, Saravanan also dedicates time to mentoring start-ups in the service sector and supports them as an angel investor.
His philosophy for success includes disregarding negativity, practicing yoga and meditation for emotional balance, and learning from the experiences of others. Despite facing skepticism, he remains steadfast in his vision.
When asked about his future plans, he aims to expand his company’s presence in northern states as well with current ongoing projects in Gujarat and Rajasthan. He believes that the only way to tackle India’s unemployment crisis is to strengthen the MSME sector and make India a strong industrial economy on par with China. India, being a service economy, can’t afford to generate enough employment opportunities with recent developments in AI and the ever widening skill gap and inflation. He also praises Government of India’s initiatives like start up India and startup accelerator programs to foster entrepreneurship in engineering colleges.
