Students Determination and Goals Matter More Than Marks: Meritorious students felicitated in the presence of Krishnakumar Goyal and Yogesh Deshpande
Pune: The Class 10 examination result is not the end of a student’s journey, but the beginning of a new chapter. Students should dream big, pursue higher education and use their knowledge not only for personal progress but also for the welfare of society, was the inspiring message delivered at a students’ felicitation ceremony in Pune.
The 36th “Felicitation Ceremony for Hindu Students from Backward Communities,” organised by Krantiveer Lahuji Vastad Pratishthan, was held at Balgandharva Rangmandir on Sunday, August 30.
Krishnakumar Goyal, Chairman and Managing Director of Kohinoor Group, and Yogesh Deshpande, Managing Director of Deshpande Landmark and Founder-Director of Sudarshan Bharat Seva Foundation, attended the programme as chief guests.
Students who achieved outstanding results in the Class 10 examination were presented with the “Krantiveer Lahuji Vastad Award” and the “Pujaniya Shri Golwalkar Guruji Award.” On behalf of Sudarshan Bharat Seva Foundation, Mr Arun Kulkarni felicitated 55 students who had scored above 90 per cent with the “Sudarshan Vidyarthi Prerna Puraskar–2026.”
Established by swayamsevaks and service-oriented volunteers, Sudarshan Bharat Seva Foundation works in the areas of healthcare, cancer awareness, education and community service. Guided by the principle, “Little for oneself and everything for society,” the Foundation seeks to provide students with educational encouragement, guidance and support.
It was emphasised that higher or lower marks in a single examination cannot determine the course of a student’s entire life. Students will encounter many opportunities in the years ahead and can achieve significant success through consistency, determination and sincere effort.
The sustained efforts of Milind Ramakant Ekbote, Founder-President of Krantiveer Lahuji Vastad Pratishthan, in promoting student welfare and organising socially oriented initiatives were also specially appreciated.
